What will we leave for the world?

Essa é uma pergunta simples e profunda que nos faz pensar no que estamos deixando?

With deforestation and fires, the Amazon already emits more carbon dioxide than it absorbs, contributing to climate change instead of stopping it, shows the study considered “the most complete and extensive ever carried out” and published in Nature. 

 

If that were not enough, each Brazilian* emits, on average, 1.6 tons of carbon per year. To offset this carbon footprint, each of us needs to plant at least 11.6 trees a year, and we have to start now, as these trees will take 20 years to sequester that same amount of carbon emitted by us in only one year. 

Shall we do it differently?

It is up to us to have the attitude and do something different, something that is not difficult being part of the Meu Pé de Árvore club. By being part of our club you can stop being an environmental damage, sign and start your journey as an agent for the Restoration and Environmental Protection of the Amazon Forest and become a Guardian of the Forest!

Como o Guardião recupera a Floresta Amazônica?

São duas atividade diferentes e vamos iniciar pela restauração chegando na proteção.

Tudo começa com sua  assinatura no nosso clube Amazônico, assim que você assina você vira um Guardião e o seu dinheiro vai possibilitar a restauração florestal e a proteção florestal, da seguintes maneiras:

 

Restauração florestal

​

  1. Levantar e escolher a serem restauradas;

  2. Firmar a parceria com os agricultores familiares donos das áreas;

  3. Diagnosis and visits to the areas for data collection and soil collection;

  4. Preparation of the technical project of the restoration;

  5. Acquisition, processing and storage of seeds;

  6. Produção da mudas de acordo com o calendário dos plantios;

  7. Rustificação da muda, que leva entre 4 a 8 meses da semeadura até estar pronta para ser plantada, mas pode variar muito dependendo da espécie;

  8. Preparo da área: isolamento, limpeza (supressão das gramíneas), preparação das covas e adubação;

  9. Plantio das mudas e sementes;

  10. Monitoramento contínuo, mais intenso no primeiro ano e vai se reduzindo com o passar dos anos;

  11. Manutenção e Intervenções, suprimir gramíneas e replantar possíveis perdas;
